A total of 5,025 delegates from 58 countries converged on Taiwan, among whom two thirds were foreign doctors and optometric equipment manufacturers.  Over 700 speakers presented their talks, 1,300 papers, and 170 forums were given during the APAO 2016. The telling statistics do not stop there. APAO 2016 also resulted in a significant total number of 385 room reservations in Grand Hyatt Taipei!   K&A successfully resorted to the use of Taiwanese cultural heritage such as HAKKA images, landmark buildings, and indigenous flowers and landscapes to decorate conference venues.
